Aslon® Dowel joints
Rubbertiles are available with dowel joints. The rubber tiles come with a dowel joint connection system, allowing them to be effortlessly joined together. Each rubber tile has four holes on two sides, which serve as anchoring points for the plastic dowels. Using these dowels is essential when installing a rubber floor. The dowel joints create a stable surface, ensuring that the rubber tiles remain in place and form a firm and safe flooring. For optimal stability, the rubber tiles should be installed in a staggered pattern.
Packaging of Dowel Joints
The dowel joints can be supplied in various ways. They can be packaged in bulk bags, allowing installers to process the rubber tiles efficiently. An alternative option is to pack the dowels in sets of 24, for example, in a (customized) pouch. This way, they can be included with the rubber tiles in hardware stores and garden centers.
Another option is to attach the dowels directly to the underside of the rubber tile. This ensures that the dowels are delivered together with the tiles, allowing the end user to start installation immediately without needing to purchase the dowels separately.
